This Working at Height training is designed for anyone who works, or employs someone that works, at height. It could be working on platforms, ladders, scaffolds or stages all the way to working beside deep trenches. The important thing to understand about work at height is not how high you are climbing but how far you can fall when you do. This includes not only people falling from heights but also materials or equipment that may be dropped and present danger to those below. The Work at Height Regulations 2005 outlines the legal duties of employers and employees in assessing, controlling and reducing the risks associated with working at height. During this course, we will be discussing all these topics such as the hazards and regulations involved, as well as looking into risk assessment methods and more. It is essential to understand this information because it is incredibly dangerous to work at height. Please keep in mind that this is only an awareness course: further practical training is necessary if your duties include actually working at height – feel free to contact us if you need help arranging it.
