Positive Handling in Schools will begin by examining some examples and data that demonstrate the significance and scope of aggressive student behaviour. It will then go on to discuss how to recognise the stages of aggression and offer some advice on how to defuse a situation before a student reacts violently. It also examines the law’s position on the matter and, ultimately, recommended practises you should follow in theory if you ever have to restrain a student.
The topic of positive handling in schools is quite important. Understanding when and how to react in a challenging scenario can mean the difference between a successful resolution and a prospective prosecution that could destroy your career.
