Nutrition and Hydration course will begin by defining the various terms used when discussing nutrition and hydration in care environments, the fundamental components of nutrition and eating a healthy balanced diet, identify the reasons why vulnerable people might suffer from dehydration, and provide you with the tools you need to recognize people who are at risk of malnutrition and the steps you can take to treat this condition.
If you work on a team that oversees people’s, it’s critical that you comprehend the terminology, the dietary needs of the service users, and the potential repercussions of making a mistake.
